David is a New Zealand based artist. His creative spark was ignited back in the 1970s as an exchange student in Wyoming, where he was given free reign of a studio for a year to produce whatever he felt like.  This had a profound impact on him and the creative urge never went away. David is now painting and sculpting every spare moment and loving it.

David paints in acrylics. His inspiration can come from anywhere, whether it be nature, people, buildings, colours or those special moments that stay with you.

David also sculpts in stone and wood using found materials. 

David is a member of the Muriwai Artists Collective https://www.muriwaiartistscollective.com

When he’s not creating, David spends time with family and coaches rowing.
